The Valleys of Kashmir

It was a sunny day when we began our journey towards the valleys of Kashmir. Though it rained heavily the night before, there was no sign of it in the morning. Despite the wet raod, nobody would believe it rained few hours ago. Everything was glimmering. One of the most beautiful things in the world is the glimmering smiles of people. And Kashmir had plenty of it to welcome us. As we went near to Pahalgam, the sky started to darken a bit and by the time we reached Betaab Valley, it started to rain a little. But it really wasn't a bad thing. The mood was different and I enjoyed it. It was a pleasing rain for me when I was roaming here and there at Betaab Valley. You could see the fog, flying around the green mountains. The place wasn't that crowded as one might think. We went there somewhat early to avoid the crowd. It tends to get really crowded after midday. And too much crowd is not favorable to completely enjoy places like this. One must have artificial noise reduced. I

How life should be - Life should more be about giving, not receiving. From a travelers' perspective, from the perspective of religion, from a social perspective, all they say is to give. But we humans are something! We hear only to receive! We have become used to receiving. We completely forget, we have to give too! Now, more than ever, this Covid-19 situation is showing us what life is about. We help, we care, we love. This should be the way, always. Not just in times of turmoil. Look at nature and what we did to them. We kept receiving from them. We received scenic beauty, we received pleasure and in return, we did give something back, we gave pollution, we gave plastic, we gave murder. But what we should have given was love and care. I don't know if people will realize this after this pandemic. Many will not stay around to realize. For our own good, for our only home, earth, please, we need to be sincere. We need to give. The peaceful place you can see in the i

Loving Thyself & Travel!

One of the most important things in life is Loving Thyself. If you are not in love or not able to respect yourself, you will find everything surrounding you to be infernal. And everything you do or see in those moments of low esteem, will be worthless to you. From my point of view, one needs to enjoy the life he/she is living in. It doesn't matter if you are driving a car or airplane, having tea or coffee, what matters is are you Enjoying it? Does it make you happy? So love  thyself. Believe in yourself - Yes, you can do it! Do not set unrealistic goals, mate! Don't live a stressful life - take action, move and change! And TRAVEL! Travel as much as you can. Go Everywhere, meet Everyone! Go to the mountains, go to the oceans, they are there, ready to embrace you with arms wide open, trust me! And in doing so, you will see, you are falling in love with the most important person in your life - You! Follow Me! Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/iva

In the lap of the Mountain

Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. And an important part and tourist attraction of this hill station is Betaab valley which is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam in Anantnag district in India's northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley got its name from a bollywood movie. It is like a huge plain land, surrounded by moutains. Weather is very unpredictable. Snow covered mountains can be seen. Untammed horses  can be seen running around the mountains slopes. There are places to sit down and enjoy the scenic beauties. A must for tourists visiting Kashmir. Follow Me! Do you know yourself?

Does this ever happen to you that you go to a secluded place and you just feel you are not the person you think you are? You see all the unknown faces, hear the unknown dialects, get surrounded by an environment completely new to you. But this doesn't make you feel scared or lost. You just don't want to think anything and just want to go with the flow. You cannot feel how the time is going by. Most of the time, when I am travelling to such places, I go through this. These places just makes me feel I am not the person everyone knows I am. Will it be strange to say, this gives me pleasure? To find myself to be completely different? Everybody says travelling changes you. What I say is that, travelling just opens up another door inside that you didn't know was there before.
